Garrett: Albuquerque Senior Photographer

Graduating this weekend from Abundant Life Christian School, Garrett, like most young adults, is a little unsure of what lies ahead. However, music is his passion.  Garrett believes that music is the gateway to the heart and is determined to let the whole world know of God’s love through music.  Whatever his journey may be, I believe Garrett will do anything to accomplish his dreams.

Charis + Adam: Albuquerque Engagement Photographer

“In your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalm 16:11

After attending church together for a long time, Charis and Adam decided it was time to get to know each other a little more.  After a few dates, it didn’t take Adam long to know that Charis would be his forevermore.  One Sunday after church in the courtyard, Charis’ students she had taught for several years held handmade signs asking Charis to marry him.  Of course, she said yes!  Charis and Adam are becoming one this June at Desert Springs Church followed by a reception at Albuquerque Balloon Museum.

Erin + Brandon: Albuquerque Engagement Photographer

Being able to poke fun of each other and knowing how to make each other laugh are signs that you are marrying your best friend.  Erin and Brandon are fun and quirky.  They love to tease (and taunt) each other, but their love goes beyond laughter.  Erin finds comfort, security, and peace in his embrace.  Brandon proposed to Erin in the exact spot they shared their first kiss.  They will be tying the knot the first weekend of June.

Carol + Frank: Albuquerque Portrait Photographer

Frank met Carol after she sold him a ticket to a college event at New Mexico State University.  Not wasting any time, he asked her for her number and they went on a double date to a John Wayne movie.  After dating a very short time, they were engaged and asked their parents if they could get married in two weeks over their spring break.  Frank and Carol may have only known each other for a few short months, but they have spent the last fifty years living life together!  I guess when you know, you know!  They raised four girls together and have lived in Santa Fe, Alaska and currently reside in Albuquerque.  Frank, a retired civil engineer, and Carol, a retired school teacher at Valley High, love spending time with their nine grandchildren.  Carol enjoys painting and Frank loves hiking and fishing.

Having photographed so many weddings these past several years, this is my first time for a fiftieth wedding anniversary!  It is so remarkable to photograph couples in love – whether on their wedding day or fifty years later!  Frank and Carol model what marriage should be – happily ever after!

Amber + Alberto: Albuquerque Wedding Photographer

High school sweethearts and best friends, Amber and Alberto tied the knot at City Church of Albuquerque on 11.11.11.  Amber and Alberto shared a private moment in the bosque where they saw each other for the first time. Because they had an evening ceremony, by doing a first look, this allowed us to take advantage of the daylight and allow nature to become our backdrop for their portraits.  Amber and Alberto celebrated their marriage with family and friends at the Inn of Rio Rancho.  With family who travelled in from all over, every guest on the dance floor, and an awesome dj, they partied until 11:11 pm before heading off to Mexico for their honeymoon. Here are a few of my favorites from their day.
